American Splendor allows guests to experience the nostalgia of classic paddlewheeler travel, while enjoying perfect comfort and the most modern amenities.
The world's newest paddlewheeler, American Splendor features serene color palettes, luxurious textiles and linens, comfortable furniture throughout, and sophisticated artwork and flourishes. From the staterooms and suites to the lounges and dining rooms, the décor pays homage to the legendary Mississippi River.
On board, guests can relax in the casual ambiance, while admiring panoramic views of the passing scenery, from their stateroom private balcony, one of the spacious lounges, or in the elegant restaurant. Our midship lounges offer the perfect place to read a book or complete a puzzle. The Fitness Center on the 4th deck features an elliptical and exercise bikes for some added exercise.
With only 180 guests, fellow travelers will quickly become new friends sharing experiences at the evening cocktail hour or while conversing on the sun deck. After dinner, enjoy a cocktail and musical performance in the River Lounge.
